Job Description
Marginpoint is seeking a Business Analyst that has experience delivering SaaS solutions in an agile environment to join our team. This person must be passionate about technology yet equally adept at business and developing product applications with a strong focus on exceeding customer expectations. This position will report into Product Management and will be the vital link between market needs, product strategy and Engineering Team’s execution. You will be responsible for creating awesome, high-quality, software products to satisfy market needs.
Location: Orange County, CA
Job Responsibilities:
Work with Partners, Customers and internal stakeholders to gather and document product and integration business requirements
Develop functional specifications and Product Requirement Documents
Work closely with developers and QA to ensure the product you intended to have built actually gets built.
Conduct internal and external design reviews and feature validation
Create product release and training documentation
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of business analyst or product owner experience or similar role in the software industry. Enterprise software and/or supply chain, inventory, field service or ERP experience a plus
Technical understanding of mobile software and/or Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365
Experience or exposure to Scrum/Agile environments
Ability to assess and understand market needs
Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving priorities in a highly technical and fast-paced environment
Strong listening and organizational skills
Effective and concise written and verbal communication skills
Highly motivated and passionate about driving product requirements
A combination of business and technical acumen with strong problem-solving skills
