The MarginPoint Professional Services Team were in Florida earlier this month to implement MarginPoint at Rolland Reash Plumbing in Jacksonville Florida. They were founded in 2000, have 50+ Employees, and a fleet of 17 trucks.

Pre-Implementation Call

On the call Rolland Reash reviewed how they managed inventory presently and shared their vision of how they wanted to control inventory in real time, make sure items are priced correctly and wanted the trucks to be set up efficiently for the technicians.  In addition, the customer wanted to have visibility for high volume material usage and to track the usage by the job, technician or even department.  The MarginPoint team used the feedback from the call to plan the onsite implementation.

Onsite

The team began by finalizing the customer data. Changes were made to their catalog of items, min/max quantities were set up, reorder quantities, replenishment methods, etc .  These were all easily modified in the cloud/windows based user interface and can be changed at any point desired.

Next up was the training of the administrators and technicians.  The administrators picked up the training exercises quickly and asked some great questions about the user interface. They were ready to go in just over 30 minutes. The technicians were given training materials and catalog label booklets for the mobile application. They commented how much simpler and more useful the MarginPoint mobile app was then any other inventory app they had tried previously.

Finally, the team jumped into the trucks with the technicians and assisted them with removing all the old stock and prepping the trucks with new material. Each technician set up their trucks to be as efficient as possible for their jobs. Each truck had upwards of 1,2oo items.

Follow Up

Our professional services team is committed to the customer! The team continues to stay in contact with Rolland Reash. The customer has been approving the restocks on a timely basis, technicians are issuing items using the mobile app and receiving restocks. We will continue to follow up with the customer to ensure their business needs are met and that the MarginPoint solution continues to exceed their expectations.
