Pre-Implementation

Bridger Coal is in Rock Springs Wyoming and was founded in 1974. Bridger Coal has a consignment warehouse and Winlectric has three aisles in the warehouse. We talked to the President before we arrived onsite and he was very excited about the program. The initial data setup is for one consignment warehouse. This is different than our usual implementations because we will be doing a free issue replenishment. They will not keep track of the inventory but generate restocks to replenish the stock in the warehouse.

Onsite Day 1 (Winlectric)

We arrived at the local company and were greeted by the President. The technicians told us “The President is the best boss they ever had”. We went through the workflow process for Winlectric & Bridger Coal. The Winlectric team understood the workflow and was excited to learn about the mobile app. We displayed the mobile app and went through the free issue replenishment. We had the technicians login and create restocks through the free issue. After creating the restocks, we had them receive those restocks. The technicians said “they loved how simple the app is and how big the buttons are”. The coal mine does not have cellular or Wi-Fi in the warehouse. We went through the offline mode on the mobile app. The offline mode will be essential for the success of this implementation. The President and technicians mastered the mobile app within a few minutes. Before we left for the day, the President told us that we must wear steel toe boots, glasses, hard hat, and pass a safety test before we go into the coal mine.

Onsite Day 2 (Bridger Coal)

We met at the local company before going to Bridger Coal. We made sure that the technicians logged into the mobile app and download the inventory before heading to the coal mine. They need to download the inventory in the mobile app to be able to access the offline mode to create restocks. After logging in the mobile app, we made the journey to Bridger Coal which is 30 minutes away from the Local Company. We arrived at Bridger Coal and the facility is massive. The coal mine is also attached to a power plant.  We got out of the car with our steel toe boots, glasses, and hard hat. We got into the consignment warehouse and went to the aisles that Bridger Coal has for Winlectric. We put the labels on all the bins which didn’t take very long. The technicians looked at the stock of the bins and started to create restocks through the Mobile App. As we were told yesterday, we did not have cellular or Wi-Fi but using offline mode they were still able to create restocks. We went through admin training with the President & technicians. The President said “the web user interface is very easy and loves the integration”.  They understood everything and didn’t have any questions.
